Job Title: Hardware Engineer
Length of Contract: 6 months, with potential extension
Location: Brentwood
Days in the Office: 4 days a week
Key Skills:
* Strong understanding of schematics and PCB layout designs
* RF knowledge (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, including testing)
* Familiarity with communication interfaces (DDR, SPI, I²C)
* Proficient in using test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters)
* Experience with engineering software (Altium, LTSpice, terminal programs)
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Must-Haves:
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* Strong collaboration and communication skills
* Hands-on experience with hardware test and verification
* Competence in documenting and presenting test results
Nice-to-Haves:
* Python or other scripting experience for automation
* RF knowledge (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
* Prior experience in consumer electronics or TV product development
Experience:
* Previous hardware engineering experience in a product development environment
* Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration (software engineering, project management)
* Comfortable supporting test activities both on-site and off-site
AI Integration:
* Exposure to or interest in AI-driven test automation and data analysis would be advantageous
