The Role
UK Leading fencing contractor is looking to recruit a receptionist to join a leading fencing and barriers contractor during an exciting time of growth and development. This is a multifunctional role suited to a well organised individual, with excellent internal and external communication skills and a proactive approach.
Joining our team, you will be responsible overseeing reception, while promoting and supporting our progressive, happy culture.
You will need to have good and accurate literacy, numeracy and administrative skills and the ability to analyse information to solve general queries. You'll also need good keyboard skills. You'll be managing a variety of relationships with different stakeholders, it's important you have good communication skills and can work on your own initiative. Good planning and organising skills are key for this role and you should be used to working under pressure allowing flexibility and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
* Principal point of contact at Littlewood must be friendly, prompt, professional and efficient.
* Handle all enquiries, arrange call backs and route calls to relevant persons with info, take accurate brief messages.
* Screen calls where necessary.
* Ensure sign in off visitors and brief induction.
* Meet visitors, arrange amenities, direct to relevant people.
* Screen calls to control interruption.
* Register post both in and out.
* Hotel booking and control of invoices/receipts/ credit card payments regarding bookings.
* General typing of memo and letters.
* Scanning and photocopying of documents.
* Archiving of documents as directed.
* Collation of employment files for new starters.
* Ordering and housekeeping of stationary.
* Transfer of telephone morning & evening.
* Picking up messages on the phone.
* Hardcopy training notification letters.
* Assistance with general administration tasks requested by management.
* Ensure confidential and discreet handling of business.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role (preferred)
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Professional and friendly telephone manner
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail
* Strong customer service skills
