Civils CAD Technician - Croydon
Hybrid Working Available
We are looking for a skilled Civils CAD Technician to join a growing consultancy in Croydon. This permanent role offers the chance to work on a variety of civil, structural, and geotechnical projects, producing high-quality 2D and 3D drawings while collaborating with engineers and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models across multiple civil engineering disciplines.
* Work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs are effectively translated into technical drawings.
* Update and modify drawings based on team feedback.
* Maintain organised CAD files, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
* Support junior technicians and contribute to training and development.
* Ensure all work meets company and industry standards, including quality and safety requirements.
Requirements
* Diploma or certification in CAD Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a CAD Technician in a civil engineering consultancy.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, and awareness of BIM standards/ISO 19650 workflows.
* Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills; able to manage tasks efficiently.
