Position: Senior Teaching Assistant, part time, temporary
Hours: 32 hours per week, term time only.
We are looking to appoint a Senior Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Class Teacher, SENDCo, & the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. This role will commence as soon as possible and will be based in our Early Years Foundation Stage and is being offered in the first instance on a temporary basis due to pending EHCP hours.
We are looking for a talented committed team member who:
1. Holds a relevant Childcare/Learning Support Qualification;
2. Has experience of supporting children with SEND, including Autism, ADD, PDA;
3. Is an exceptional communicator with staff, pupils and parents;
4. Is motivated and enthusiastic with high expectations of pupil progress;
5. Is organised and able to keep track of pupils’ progress & achievements;
6. Is able to work with wider professionals in order to support our pupils;
7. Can work effectively as part of the team in our busy, happy and successful school.
