About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking ICT Teacherto join a dynamic secondary school in Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students with a passion for technology, digital literacy and computer science. You will play a key role in delivering an engaging and modern ICT curriculum that equips students with the skills they need in an increasingly digital world.
Role Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons across all Key Stages
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support individual development.
* Create a stimulating learning environment using a range of digital tools and resources.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the ICT curriculum and emerging technologies.
* Support the development of students’ problem-solving, coding and critical thinking skills.
* Contribute to department planning and school-wide ICT initiatives.
* Participate in school events, open evenings and extracurricular ICT activities or clubs.
Role Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in ICT, Computing or a related field.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital education and innovation.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and safeguarding practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
