Self Service is looking for a proactive, confident Wholesale Admin & Showroom Assistant to join the central London office. As a key support member of the sales team, the Wholesale Admin & Showroom Assistant will suit an energetic, personable & organised individual seeking their first opportunity in fashion wholesale.
The role is ideal for someone in retail who can move into a position a few days a week with a view to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities of the Wholesale Admin & Showroom Assistant:
* Processing and checking orders
* Pick notes and send order confirmations to clients – additionally updating client distribution lists.
* Uploading data onto the order operating system Zedonkk
* Producing a variety of sales tools, including lookbooks, line sheets, campaign imagery, fabric specifications and critical path calendars.
* Using Mailchimp to produce exciting and informative mailers for clients in different territories to promote collections, new brands, events, showroom activities and tradeshows.
* Booking and confirming appointments – managing the diary for the sales office
* Ensuring effective communication with the customer to ensure all information is provided in a timely, accurate and appropriate way.
* Liaising with agents and distributors, checking if they have the right sales tools and they are aware of the order deadlines
* Sending samples to PRs, Influencers and agents – completing relevant paperwork correctly
* Assisting in the daily running of the showroom brands - this will mean unpacking samples, hanging collections, steaming, packing boxes, creating packing lists every month. Showroom sample /stock management
* Maintaining showroom standards at all times
* Contacting clients via phone about new collections/brands and inviting them in for an appointment
* Visiting clients in person, or at trade shows, maintaining face-to-face relationships with clients.
* Daily upkeep and maintenance of the A-Z master database of clients

* Highly organised & attentive to detail with excellent computer and communication skills
* Competent with Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* A team player who is also able to work autonomously in an accurate and timely manner with attention to detail and within critical deadlines.
* Really well presented with great soft skills
* Polite, friendly and not afraid of hard work
* Driving license is a plus, but not required
