We are seeking to recruit two Early Years Practitioners to join our amazing and growing team at Bishop Auckland College Nursery. Our nursery offers beautiful and spacious areas for you to help our children grow and learn in a fun environment. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person with a level 3 childcare qualification to join our wonderful nursery family.
The successful candidates will be required to possess:
1. Level 3 certificate or diploma in children’s care, learning and development (Early Years) or level 3 NVQ childcare learning and education (Early Years)
2. Basic food hygiene (or be willing to work towards within 6 months)
3. Paediatric first aid certificate (or be willing to work towards within 6 months)
4. FGM (or be willing to work towards in 6 weeks)
5. Level 1 safeguarding (to be achieved within 6 weeks)
Applicants will also have experience of:
1. Working with children in a variety of settings
2. Observation of child development
3. Planning child centred activities
4. Planning next steps for children

Grade: fixed point 13 (£23,305.03-pro rata)
Hours: 25 hours per week (term time only), permanent position
