Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Support Workers – Full-Time Days

Location: Wigton
Join a well‑established, people‑focused service supporting four individuals

If you’re caring, compassionate, and genuinely motivated to make a difference, this is an exciting opportunity to bring your talents to a service where your contribution truly matters. We’re looking for Support Workers who can offer high‑quality, person‑centred support to four individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and visual and hearing impairments.

Our aim is to promote each person’s choices, wellbeing, and independence. You’ll be part of a supportive team that works collaboratively, respectfully, and creatively to help people live fulfilling lives on their own terms.

What the people we support enjoy

This is a lively and varied service where no two days are the same. The individuals you’ll support enjoy:

14. Rambling and walking
15. Cycling
16. Listening to music
17. Visiting coffee shops
18. Home baking

They value a support team that is fun‑loving, kind, considerate, respectful of personal space, and ideally someone who shares their love of music.

What the role involves

You’ll provide day‑to‑day support tailored to each person’s needs, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences. Your approach will be person‑centred, patient, and grounded in dignity and respect.

Shift Patterns

This is a full‑time days role, and colleagues must be flexible with the days and times they can work. The service operates with the following shift patterns:

19. 7am – 2.30pm
20. 1.30pm – 9pm
21. 9pm – 7am (waking nights)

Please note: We are not currently recruiting for waking night shifts, but there may be occasional waking night cover required for annual leave or sickness.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking colleagues who are:

22. Compassionate and committed to delivering high‑quality support
23. Able to work positively within a team
24. Respectful of individual preferences and boundaries
25. Flexible with working patterns and availability
26. Ready to bring enthusiasm and reliability to a full‑time role

Why this role matters

You’ll be joining a stable, well‑established service in Wigton where your work has a direct and lasting impact. You’ll help people live more independently, pursue their interests, and feel valued and supported every day.

If you’re ready to bring your kindness, energy, and professionalism to a role that truly changes lives, we’d love to hear from you.

We are passionate about our people and every year we invest heavily in our front-line worker pay, in line with the Living Wage increase each April. This means that from 1st April, our payrate for this role will be increasing to £13.12 per hour

Your values:

Got heart? You’re halfway there.
At Community Integrated Care, we know it takes someone special to work in social care—and that doesn’t always mean having experience. We hire based on values, welcoming people from all walks of life: seasoned support workers, Care Assistants, Veterans, those with lived experience, or even total newbies with a passion to care.
