SEN Graduate Academic Coach – Autism & ADHD SupportWant to build real experience supporting neurodiverse students before a career in psychology, SEN teaching or mental health?*** SEN Graduate Academic Coach*** £90 – £105 per day*** September 2025 – July 2026*** Secondary School Location: Walsall*** Autism and ADHD 1:1 and small group supportThe RoleYou’ll provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for students with Autism and ADHD across KS3 and KS4. Your day will involve helping pupils manage transitions, engage in learning, and develop their social and emotional confidence. You’ll be based in the classroom but will also run intervention sessions to reinforce academic work and help develop focus, organisation, and independence.You’ll work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and pastoral team to adapt strategies and ensure pupils receive consistent, structured support tailored to their needs.The CandidateYou’re a graduate—likely in psychology, education, or a related subject—who’s patient, calm, and naturally empathetic. You’ve got a genuine interest in SEN and want practical experience that will prepare you for a career supporting young people. If you’ve worked with children or young adults in any setting—schools, mentoring, youth work, or care—it’s a definite plus.This role gives you a solid foundation in behaviour management, differentiation, and inclusive practice—ideal if you’re planning to train as a teacher, therapist, or educational psychologist.The SchoolThis Walsall secondary school is inclusive, forward-thinking, and committed to giving every student the tools to succeed.
