Job Description:
Your Impact
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role requires working in a highly collaborative environment within Leonardo UK across our sites and with industrial partners. You will be responsible for consolidating, interpreting, and analyzing costing data, ensuring accuracy and contractual compliance to support financial reporting. You will work closely with the integrated project team and provide expertise to our Work Package Leads to understand cost drivers and drive efficiencies for increased affordability.
What you will do
1. Ensure all costs are correctly allocated to work packages and projects.
2. Reconcile forecasted and actual monthly expenditures.
3. Consolidate data from multiple lines of business.
4. Produce trend analyses.
5. Monitor work progress by reviewing supporting materials (forward loads, material plans).
6. Input estimating data into relevant systems following company standards.
7. Engage with external partners within the Cost Scrum.
8. Use dashboards to review and present data to internal stakeholders.
9. Work within a team of four, reporting to the Portfolio Cost Lead.

* Strong Microsoft Excel skills (SUMIFS, LOOKUPS, PIVOT TABLES).

* Focus on high-quality output and team support.
Desirable
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP).
* Understanding of QDC Reporting and AAR principles.
* Power BI dashboard experience.
* Knowledge of project management principles.
* Experience with change management and continuous improvement tools.
* Ability to optimize financial reporting workflows and automate tasks.
