Location: Stonehouse
Rate: £35-40 per hour DOE

About the Role
A leading manufacturing business in Stonehouse is seeking a reliable and organised Engineering Stores Person on a short-term contract basis. This is a key role within the engineering team, ensuring that all materials, spare parts, and tools are accurately managed and readily available to support maintenance and production activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, inspect, and store engineering materials and spare parts.
* Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring stock levels are monitored and updated.
* Pick, pack, and issue materials to engineering and maintenance teams as required.
* Support the engineering team with ad-hoc tasks related to stock control and equipment maintenance.
* Ensure all stores operations comply with company safety and quality standards.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an engineering stores, maintenance stores, or materials handling role within manufacturing.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic IT skills for stock management systems.
