Lift Plumberow is looking for an Administration Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly team. This is a key role within the school, supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of operations and acting as a first point of contact for pupils, parents and visitors. We are looking for someone organised, proactive and professional, who can contribute positively to our warm and welcoming school culture.
About Lift Plumberow
Lift Plumberow is a vibrant and high achieving three form entry primary school in the heart of Hockley, educating around 650 pupils from Reception to Year 6. About the role
As an Administration Assistant, you will play a central role in supporting the administrative function of the school.
You will
* Provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school
* Act as part of the reception team, welcoming visitors and handling enquiries professionally
* Maintain accurate pupil records and update systems such as Arbor
* Support attendance processes, including absence tracking and communication
* Coordinate meetings, events and school activities
* Manage communications, including emails, newsletters and parent updates
* Support with school systems, data reporting and general office tasks
* Assist with first aid administration and pupil welfare processes
Working hours: Monday—Wednesday 9:00 am–12:00 pm and Thursday—Friday 8:00 am–4:00 pm.
This role is varied and fast‑paced, requiring strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.
