Job Description:
The Product Chemistry & Dangerous Goods Project Manager role contributes to the efficient operations of the team through reviewing and assessing materials by examining composition and endpoints of studies. This role is responsible for learning and reviewing materials for dangerous goods assessments, assisting with monitoring product chemistry studies necessary for registration, and coordinating across projects to facilitate the processing of regulatory documents required for global product registrations. It involves interaction with multiple technical disciplines and requires fundamental knowledge of Corteva products for document content quality review. Candidates should be results-oriented and organized, capable of working effectively both independently and within a centralized team environment.
* Monitor and analyze project and productivity metrics regularly to identify trends, triggers, and necessary mitigation actions in consultation with the R2O Leader.
* Review product chemistry and dangerous goods documentation, coordinating across projects for efficient regulatory support document processing.
* Ensure timely follow-up on requests and communicate project status to stakeholders.
* Engage with subject matter experts, regulatory staff, and operations to clarify document requirements.
* Manage shifting priorities based on requests and deadlines.
* Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with global regulatory and business teams.
* Promote continuous improvement within the team.
* Lead or participate in projects or process improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field (or equivalent experience), or a regulatory/legal degree.
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and familiarity with databases.
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* High attention to quality.
* Ability to follow and implement work processes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Previous technical or regulatory experience is preferred.
