Are you a proactive IT professional with a passion for maintaining robust information systems? We're looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative IT & MIS Officer to support and enhance core technology across a growing Wales-based organisation.
About the Role
In this varied and hands-on role, you'll maintain and improve internal IT infrastructure and Management Information Systems. Reporting to the Business Transformation Director, you'll ensure reliable system performance, support staff with queries, and contribute to the development and documentation of both current and future platforms.

Salary: £30,000
Key Responsibilities
7. Maintain and support Microsoft Exchange Server, Windows Server, domain controllers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
8. Oversee and maintain SQL Server-based internal systems, including stored procedures, views, and user access
9. Administer user accounts, security permissions, backups, and regular updates across infrastructure
10. Generate and run business reports to meet operational and regulatory requirements (using SSRS or similar)
11. Troubleshoot and resolve IT queries from staff; escalate complex issues to external providers as needed
12. Assist with testing and implementation of new platforms and updates, including cloud technologies
13. Contribute to clear documentation of IT processes and support materials for users
Person Specification
14. Level 4 qualification in IT (or equivalent experience). Degree-level qualification highly regarded.
15. Demonstrable experience with:
16. Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server/AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
17. SQL Server administration, including reports, stored procedures, and database maintenance
18. Reporting tools such as SSRS or Crystal Reports
19. Hybrid cloud/on-premise environments
20. Troubleshooting legacy systems (e.g., ASP.NET, VB.NET)
21. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
22. Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills
23. Analytical, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
24. Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required in Wales
25. A full driving licence

26. Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh
27. Experience with Visual Studio, basic code troubleshooting, and web-based information systems
