About
Our client is a manufacturer of acoustic, fire, and thermal insulations for building facades with over 45 years of experience.
They are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Project Development Manager to lead their early engagement project coordination team.
You will manage a team consisting of a Business Development Team Leader and 5 Project Coordinators to maximize project opportunities. Your role will involve ensuring data accuracy and informativeness to guide the commercial team in securing orders.
What you'll do
* Facilitate incoming leads aligned with their commercial strategy to build their pipeline.
* Oversee the identification, tracking, and development of leads and active inquiries before quotation.
* Engage proactively with architects, main contractors, and specifiers through all communication channels, building trusted relationships through tactical questioning and regular engagement.
* Ensure Salesforce is fully and accurately populated with relevant stakeholders and project details, including dates.
What you'll need
* Project management training or certification.
* Salesforce or CRM training/certification (desirable).
* Relevant industry experience in construction.
* Strategic and commercial thinking abilities.
* Analytical reporting and insight generation skills.
* Knowledge of key industry stakeholders such as architects, main contractors, and specifiers.
* Understanding of passive fire protection systems and regulatory context.
