About Us:
The Help to Grow Management programme is a UK-wide initiative designed to support small business leaders in scaling their businesses, driving innovation, and building resilient teams. Delivered in partnership with leading business schools, government stakeholders, and the private sector, the programme helps SMEs unlock their potential and contribute to the wider economy.
About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Producer to join our delivery team. You’ll play a critical role in creating high-quality content for both our course curriculum and alumni engagement workstreams. If you're a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and project management skills, and you’re passionate about storytelling that can impact small businesses across the UK, this is the role for you.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, university academics, and business leaders to create dynamic, case study-led content and develop a calendar of engaging alumni events and webinars. You’ll be instrumental in bridging the gap between curriculum and alumni content, ensuring a consistent, high-quality learner journey throughout the programme and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source and secure compelling business case studies from across the UK for video production.
* Work with our curriculum team to align case studies with modules 3, 6, 9, and 12 of the programme.
* Lead end-to-end video production, including site visits, shoot day management, contributor interviews, and overseeing editing and delivery in collaboration with production partners.
* Produce and support content for alumni events, including 4 annual conferences and monthly webinars.
* Research and book speakers, write scripts and questions, and generate promotional content in partnership with our marketing and events teams.
* Ensure all contracts, contributor releases, and production documentation are complete and compliant.
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies, market trends, and small business growth strategies to inform your work.
* Collaborate across departments to deliver integrated, strategic content aligned with organisational goals.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in content or video production.
* Strong research and speaker sourcing skills.
* Confident in managing senior stakeholder relationships and working with diverse contributors.
* Experience overseeing production schedules and budgets.
* Excellent writing and communication skills – from contributor outreach to promotional copy.
* Experience producing educational or learning content.
* Strong project management abilities with a flexible and proactive mindset.
* Willingness to travel across the UK.
Desirable:
* Experience producing webinars or virtual events.
* Understanding of SMEs and the challenges they face in scaling.
* Background in business development, marketing, or government/public sector engagement.
* Previous work with university or academic institutions.
* Ability to identify strategic opportunities through content.
* Familiarity with presentation and proposal design tools.
