Our client is recruiting for a Permanent Counterbalance Driver / Yard Person to join their team to start January 2026!
Location: Rayleigh
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Driver/Yard Person to join our clients team in Rayleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy yard environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
* Managing yard duties including loading/unloading vehicles.
* Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
* Supporting general warehouse and yard operations.
Requirements:
* Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
* Full UK driving license (due to location).
* Ideally you will have experience moving lengths of material - ie Carpet, timber etc.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
