Humanities Teacher Location: Camberley, Surrey and Surrounding AreasContract Type: Full-TimeSalary: £150-£260 per day Start Date: September 2026

Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher looking for your next opportunity in education? We are currently interviewing for a Humanities Teacher position within welcoming, high-achieving secondary schools across Camberley and the surrounding areas of Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring teacher of History, Geography, Religious Studies, or a combination of Humanities subjects to join supportive departments that are committed to academic excellence, student achievement, and professional development. Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

The Role - Humanities Teacher - Interviewing

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 is optional teaching opportunities available in some settings in Camberley. As a Humanities Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons across Humanities subjects * Teach your specialist subject area, including History, Geography, and/or Religious Studies * Plan, assess, and monitor student progress effectively * Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and curiosity about the world * Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management * Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and enrichment activities * Support students to achieve their full academic potential

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) * Experience teaching Humanities within UK secondary schools * Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, Religious Studies, or related disciplines * The ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities * Excellent classroom management and communication skills * A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing * A collaborative approach to working within a department and wider school community
