Job Description:
Shire Healthcare is recruiting for a Psychological Therapist to work from home with travel required to Hitchin and Bedford.
About the employer:
This employer delivers bespoke packages to children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma, working with children's residential homes, local authorities, supported accommodation providers, and educational settings. They also provide therapeutic support to organizations to develop trauma-informed practice.
Role snapshot:
The role involves working with external organizations, including schools and educational settings, offering consultations, reflective practice, direct therapeutic input, assessments, and training. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop and lead this therapy service, contributing to the company's centre of excellence in developmental trauma and attachment. A significant part of the role will be working from home.
Contract type: – permanent
Hours: – 3 – 5 days per week considered
Experience required:
Experience working with CYP residential/LAC services and systems is mandatory, along with registration/accreditation with the relevant governing body.
