About the Role:
Our client, a reputable family-owned independent garage specializing in prestige vehicles, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Vehicle Technician / Motor Engineer to join their busy Service Team. Hours for this Vehicle Technician role:
3. Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Contracted hours)
4. Optional Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM (at overtime rate)
Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician:
5. Diagnose, test, and repair a wide range of modern vehicles using the latest technology
6. Carry out all work in a safe, environmentally conscious, and efficient manner
7. Build and maintain a strong knowledge base to identify faults and perform comprehensive repairs
8. Share expertise with colleagues, helping to develop their skills and knowledge
9. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and excellent service
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
10. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a strong work ethic
11. Ability to work efficiently in a demanding environment and adhere to schedules
12. Good time management and organizational skills
13. Careful and respectful handling of customers’ vehicles and property
14. Optional: Hold an MOT license (beneficial but not essential)
15. Ideally reside within or be easily accessible to the Petersfield area
