Job Description
We are working closely with a growing Consultancy in their search for an Automation Test Engineer to join the expanding team on a permanent basis. They have offices in Gloucester, Manchester and London, with flexible working arrangements.
Due to the nature of their projects, you must already hold an active UK*C DV Clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions
* Define and execute test activities either independently or within a team
* Identify Testing solutions, specifically automated solutions, to reduce software time-to-market
* Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive testable scenarios
Key Requirements:
* Track record for delivering quality Automated Test solutions in a fast-paced dynamic Engineering environment
* Hands-on in aiding and implementing test strategies with a strong understanding of the Modern Testing Principles
* Experience of working with Test Automation tools/frameworks for varying application layers, utilising techniques such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD
* Strong programming skills in such as Python, PowerShell, C#, and Java
* Solid experience of the SDLC, agile methodologies/principles and dev-ops tools/techniques
* Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical, planning and written/verbal communication skills and an aptitude to learn new technologies quickly
* ISTQB Certified
