Tsunami Axis works with clients to create and design the interiors of commercial office spaces, managing the project from concept to installation, procuring furniture from various suppliers. Working out of our Bourn Quarter warehouse, Cambridge. The Tsunami Axis Operations team is a highly experienced, certified unit that delivers projects with precision from mock-up to completion – always ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction. You will be part of the team who are responsible for the delivery and installation of office furniture on site.
Your role will be to help organise furniture installation and deliveries, professional execution of warehouse operations, delivering the furniture to sites across London and Southern UK. Our Operations team delivers projects from £25k to £100k with precision, compliance, and client focus.
Our collaborative approach, combined with our expertise in multi-location rollouts, phased delivery programmes, and complex site requirements, ensures we uphold rigorous safety, quality, and service benchmarks – delivering every project on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Installation Crew are CSCS and SMSTS certified, trained across multiple supplier platforms, and skilled in logistics, manual handling, and on-site coordination. Our TA Operations Department at the Bourn Quarter manages long-term and project-based storage, consolidation, and delivery scheduling through a robust tracking system and vetted haulage partners.
Your area will cover London sites and surrounding counties, with some unsocial hours depending on project requirement.
Job Role:
Responsible for the overall swift, efficient delivery and installation of office systems furniture to agreed specifications and customer satisfaction. To include the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Dimensions:
This role will encompass professional execution of warehouse operating, installations onsite. Tools, training and uniforms will be provided if required. Frequent Travelling into London may be required with weekend work and occasional night shifts depending on individual project requirements.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Accountable for daily warehouse operational work orders, deliveries and installations on site and working either as a team or directly under an Installation Supervisor. throughout the day.
* Maintaining machinery equipment (forklifts), tools, vans and other equipment on a daily/weekly basis.
* Always Delivering a superior customer service level.
* Support at the warehouse, loading and unloading deliveries, and support with office moves.
* Manage time onsite effectively
* Attend and keep current training and in-house workshops as directed by management
Nature and Scope:
Working under the Installation Supervisors and operation teams' guidance to successfully undertake all assigned daily tasks and duties while maintaining all necessary Health & Safety requirements. This may will include problem solving on site. Adequate preplanning is necessary to achieve goals set forth by management. Ability to handle an installation without escalating is a key aspect of the job.
