The Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive support to the Occupational Health team by undertaking a range of administration and clerical tasks to ensure smooth service operations.
The Occupational Health Service also serves university students, Primary Care staff, and other organizations. The work is diverse, confidential, and physically demanding.
Main duties of the job
* Support external organizations such as Edge Hill University.
* Provide administrative support to clinical staff and the team.
* Assist Medical Secretaries with report formatting.
* Answer calls and emails, directing inquiries appropriately.
* Manage appointments via the Online Occupational Health Database, including pre-employments and referrals.
* Perform reception duties, including greeting clients and running clinics.
* Maintain professionalism and effective communication.
* Assist clinical staff with administrative queries.
* Scan files and update databases.
* Handle general office duties.
