Your New JobAre you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded independent specialist school in Disley, Cheshire, as a SEND Teaching Assistant. You will work with pupils aged 7–16 with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, SEMH, dyspraxia, dyslexia, attachment and trauma. Your role will involve supporting students in the classroom, delivering tailored interventions, and helping them to access a broad and ambitious curriculum. You will also contribute to outdoor learning, enrichment activities, and therapeutic programmes.

The school supports children who have often experienced significant challenges in previous educational settings, including long periods out of school. What You'll Need to Succeed
7. Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, autism, SEMH, or associated needs
8. A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
9. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
10. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
11. Relevant qualifications (, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
12. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
13. Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
