The Opportunity
We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially-minded sales professional eager to grow and take on leadership responsibilities. You’ll be focused on originating, closing, and nurturing merchant relationships across payments, FX, and high-risk sectors, with the opportunity to help build and lead the sales practice as the business expands.
This role offers exciting exposure to international markets, including travel to meet clients, attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities around the globe. You’ll gain hands-on experience in developing strategic sales initiatives, understanding diverse markets, and representing the company on a global stage, all while building your path towards a senior commercial leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
* Originate and develop new merchant relationships across payments, FX, and high-risk sectors.
* Nurture and manage existing client relationships to ensure long-term growth and client satisfaction.
* Identify market opportunities and create strategic plans to expand the merchant base.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, compliance, and product, to deliver tailored client solutions.
* Attend international events, conferences, and client meetings to represent the company globally.
* Support the development of the sales practice, contributing ideas and processes to improve efficiency and scale.
* Track sales performance metrics and report on progress against targets.
* Develop the skills and experience necessary to grow into a leadership role within the commercial team.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: 2+ years’ experience in high-risk payments, merchant services, or FX sales.
* Commercial Mindset: Ambitious and eager to grow into a leadership position.
* Client Focused: Strong relationship-building skills and ability to identify new opportunities.
* Knowledge: Understanding of payments infrastructure, merchant onboarding, and high-risk sectors.
* Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
