Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Rotherham (S65, S66) Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes and supporting students during teacher absences! GSL Education are looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Rotherham, covering the S65 and S66 areas. The Cover Supervisor (CS) will manage classrooms, ensure students remain on task, and deliver pre-prepared lesson materials provided by teaching staff. Main Duties: Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged. Maintain positive behaviour and follow the school’s behaviour policy. Provide guidance and support to students during lessons. Report any issues or concerns to senior staff. Requirements of Cover Supervisor: Experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting. Confident classroom presence and good behaviour management skills. Strong communication and organisational abilities. Flexible, reliable, and professional approach. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). What’s in It for You?
