We are seeking a visionary, globally minded Senior Vice President, International to lead Habitat’s field operations across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe/Middle East, and Latin America & the Caribbean.

As SVP, International, you will be the enterprise leader for Habitat’s global field network outside the U.S. and Canada, ensuring strong regional performance, leadership excellence, and alignment with our global mission.
You will sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and influence—translating vision into action while elevating Habitat’s voice on the global stage.
What You’ll Do
Lead Global Field Operations
* Provide strategic leadership to Area Vice Presidents across four regions
* Ensure strong performance, governance, and leadership pipelines across countries
* Align global strategy with regional execution while respecting local context
* Serve as the escalation point for complex regional and partnership challenges
Strengthen a Powerful Global Network
* Build trusted relationships with National Offices, Boards, and key stakeholders
* Drive consistency in organizational health, leadership capability, and impact
* Champion Habitat’s mission and faith‑based identity across diverse cultures
Shape Global Strategy
* Lead the International Strategy Advisory Council (ISAC)
* Bring field insights to inform enterprise strategy and decision‑making
* Help define Habitat’s long‑term global ambitions and influence
Partner Across the Enterprise
* Collaborate with the COO and global leaders to align systems with field needs
* Unlock new opportunities with Resource Development, Advocacy, and Housing Finance teams
* Act as a critical bridge between strategy and execution
Build Leaders & Culture
* Develop diverse, high‑performing global leadership pipelines
* Model inclusive, culturally intelligent leadership
* Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion as central to mission success
What You Bring
* 15+ years of senior leadership in international development or global operations
* Proven ability to lead across multi‑country, matrixed environments
* Strong diplomatic, political, and cross‑cultural leadership skills
* Experience shaping strategy at enterprise and board‑adjacent levels

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $241,900 – $302,400. Staff hired on a hybrid basis in the United States near Atlanta, Georgia / Washington, DC and Americus, GA, are required to report to the office on Tuesdays.
