This may enable you to work one day less each week (or an equivalent arrangement) as part of our school workplace wellbeing initiatives. 4DWW will be rolled out within our school when we have a full complement of staff and within the next year. Location: Bradford Beacon School, Rooley Lane, Bradford, BD5 8LJ
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum dependent on experience (not pro rata)
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
Start Date: September 2025

About The Role
We are looking for SEN Teachers who have a therapeutic approach to their teaching and learning. Experience of working with autistic pupils. You will plan, assess, and deliver all subjects with an emphasis on practical learning and personal development. We need people who share our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Qualifications
* UK QTS/QTLS
* Experience of working in a special education setting with children with Autism
General Responsibilities
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils and young people;
* Work in accordance with professional practice, statutory and legal requirements and school policies;
* Take on specific tasks related to day-to-day administration and organisation of the school;
* Take responsibility for specific areas of work which will be reviewed annually and agreed within performance management and school improvement processes;
* Take on any additional responsibilities as determined from time to time.
You will be adept at tailoring your teaching and lessons to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils. You will set high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge pupils and promote progress and positive outcomes.
About Us
Our Bradford Beacon School is proposed to open September 2025 and will cater for 37 pupils aged 4–11 with a variety of complex needs including ASC. For over 16 years Options Autism has provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As part of Outcomes First Group, we lead in setting and delivering new approaches that provide measurable outcomes for those in our care.

Note on hours and pay: You’ll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit.
