Copello have partnered with an established defence engineering business in the recruitment of a Sales Manager to lead and grow business opportunities within the defence sector. This role can be based out of several locations including; Hampshire and Gloucestershire.
This role requires a proactive and strategic individual who can manage the full sales lifecycle; from market analysis and customer engagement through to bid direction and successful deal closure.
Responsibilities:
* Manage stakeholders and lead opportunities from identification to closure.
* Develop and maintain multi-year sales pipelines and forecasts.
* Direct bids, campaigns, and marketing initiatives.
* Build strong customer and partner relationships.
* Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
* Track record of achieving significant annual sales.
* Strong background in business development and market analysis.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
