Ready to make animpact? Join our vibrantThird PartyProperty Damage team as a Claims Advisor and be at the heart of resolving complex cases, supporting customers, and driving positive outcomes every day.

Working Hours/ Shift Patterns:You will work 37.5 hours per weekon aMonday to Friday09:00 – 17:30.

Training:Thecoretraininglasts for the first 4 weeks of yourrole and iscompletedvirtually.

Our approach to Hybrid Working:With hybrid working, you have more flexibility, as you usually onlyhave tovisit our office once a week and work remotely for the rest of the time. You can always opt to work from the office morefrequentlyif that suits you better. When we organise training and events you maybe requiredto attend in person for the duration.

Salary:The starting salary is£28,800plus benefits.

Location:Our fantastic Bexhill office, which is next to the seafront, and only a short walk from Collington station.

Your Role:As a Third-Party Property Damage Claims Handler,you’llplay a crucial role in our claims team, responsible for investigating and resolving third-party property damage claims.You’llutilizeyourexpertisein liability assessments and negotiations to ensure fair andaccuratesettlements whilemaintainingexcellent customer service.

1. Great communicationskills- Clear and confident phone manner, ability towriteprofessional emails and letters.

2. Time management- Managing multiple claims and deadlines effectively

3. Problem solving skills-Ability to assess claims and resolve issues efficiently

4. Organisation skills- Keeping claims up to date and managing workload efficiently.

5. Adaptability- handling changes in procedures or systems smoothly

6. Negotiation Skills- Resolve disputes and achieve settlements effectively.

7. Empathy & Active Listening Skills-Handle sensitive conversations with customers who may be distressed.


What will you be doing? 

You will manage both inbound and outbound calls guiding customers through liability queries with professionalism,clarityand care 

Liaise with external parties, such as claimants, solicitors, and other insurance companies, to negotiate and settle claims. 

Analyse policy documentation todeterminecoverage and applicability. 

Evaluate liability and quantum todetermineaccuratesettlement amounts. 

Manage a caseload of claims while ensuring adherence to company guidelines and regulatory standards. 

Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and share knowledge for continuous improvement. 

Keepaccurateand up-to-date records of claims activities using the company’s systems. 

Ability to overcome customer objections and drive a positive resolution through excellent communication skills (questioning and listening)

Computer Skills: You will confidently use computer systems to record,trackand manage liability cases with accuracy and efficiency
