Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Team Manager to join its client’s Fostering team, based in Manchester.

In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team of social workers, ensuring that high‑quality care and safeguarding remain at the centre of everything our client does. What will your responsibilities be?
1. Team Leadership: Manage and allocate workloads while monitoring the performance of the social work team to meet service objectives.
2. Safeguarding: Maintain a clear and consistent focus on the safety and well-being of children and young people.
3. Supervision: Provide robust supervision and support to Supervising Social Workers, trainees, and support staff.
4. Growth & Recruitment: Participate in the advertisement, recruitment, and selection of new social work talent.
5. Flexibility: Manage a schedule that includes some evening and weekend work to meet the needs of our foster families.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
10. Social Work England Registration (Active).
11. Degree level qualification or equivalent in Social Work.
12. 5+ Years Post-Qualifying Experience in statutory childcare work, including child protection.
13. Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
