Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee our electrical and mechanical engineering operations. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a background in industrial manufacturing settings and the ability to provide strong leadership.

Description
* Supervise the electrical and mechanical engineering department's daily operations within the manufacturing environment.
* Ensure all electrical/mechanical equipment is maintained to an appropriate standard.
* Lead and develop a team of skilled shift technicians (circa 14 heads), promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
* Oversee project planning and management for engineering upgrades and installations.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall organisational objectives.
* Adhere to safety and compliance standards, and ensure team compliance.
* Support the development of operational budgets within the department.
* Manage contractor relationships and oversee outsourced work.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Manager should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
* Experience in a leadership role within an industrial manufacturing setting.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.
* Ideally we are looking for someone that is electrically biased for this role however we would be open to considering managers who have overseen the electrical department and have exposure to HV
