Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Lecturer in English to join the Berkshire College of Agriculture team. The role is permanent, full‑time and offers a salary ranging from £31,633 (T1) to £45,341 (T11) depending on qualifications and experience. The expected start date is Wednesday, 19 August 2026.
Responsibilities
* Teach post‑16 learners, building reading, writing, speaking and listening skills for GCSE or Functional Skills qualifications.
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support students with varied starting points and experiences.
* Work closely with Learning Support Assistants to adapt teaching so every student can participate and progress.
* Use assessment to identify learner progress, address knowledge gaps and track improvement over time.
* Promote attendance and build learners’ confidence in English.
