What will you be doing?
Main responsibilities include:
* Reviewing and coding purchase invoices for Accountant's approval, challenging unexpected expenses with Group Management.
* Preparing and posting accruals.
* Preparing monthly expense reimbursements.
* Preparing final bank reconciliations.
* Assisting the Accountant with full monthly accounts preparation to determine final profit figures.
* Overseeing the Central Group Accounts function, including the Central Credit Control Team.
* Ensuring customer payments are made on time, maintaining fair relationships for ongoing profitability.
* Expressing views/decisions regarding 'risk' accounts and handling queries.
* Supporting the Group Accountant as required.
* Following Head Office policies and communicating issues daily with the Group Accountant.
* Approving new account opening forms and credit limits.
* Facilitating team workload and leading weekly reviews to support effective credit control management.
Who are we looking for?
Successful candidates will:
* Have previous accounts experience, especially in credit control and accounts receivable processes.
* Have previous team management or leadership experience.
* Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Possess the ability to multitask and problem solve.
* Perform well under pressure and deadlines.
* Show an excellent eye for detail.
* Have good IT skills.
* Demonstrate an excellent team player mentality.
An AAT qualification and Keyloop experience would be advantageous.
