At Yunex Traffic, our Poole manufacturing facility produces high‑reliability electronic assemblies used across national infrastructure. We’re proud to be an award‑winning leader in cutting-edge PCBA manufacturing — and we’re growing.
We’re now looking for a skilled Electronics Production Technician to join our Surface Mount Technology PCBA production team. If you’re passionate about electronics, precision, and solving technical challenges, you’ll fit right in.
Responsibilities:
1. Carry out high-quality optical inspection of PCBAs using the latest inspection technologies
2. Perform first-line fault finding and rework to maintain high production yields
3. Develop and refine Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) programs
4. Maintain manufacturing traceability and quality records
5. Support continuous improvement through structured root‑cause analysis
6. Perform routine first-line maintenance on production equipment
7. Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
8. Maintain strong safety, organisation, and housekeeping standards in your production cell
Qualifications & Experience:
9. Strong communication skills, working with a fast-moving and collaborative team
10. A practical problem‑solver with a proactive approach to maintaining output and quality
11. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high manufacturing standards
12. Ability to prioritise effectively across a high-mix production schedule
Required:
13. Experience in medium/high-volume PCBA manufacturing
14. IPC‑A‑610 certified [Class II] (or significant practical experience)
15. Strong IT literacy (Windows OS / basic systems)
Desirable:
16. IPC 7711/7721 rework/modification
17. Experience with AOI
18. HNC/NVQ Level 3 in Electronics or similar
19. Awareness of modern PCBA manufacturing technologies
