They are now seeking a Graduate Bid Writer to join their Kidderminster office, supporting the Proposals Manager and wider team in producing compelling, client-focused submissions.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and review historic bid submissions to identify reusable content and enhance knowledge management.
• Write and update detailed project case studies showcasing outcomes, innovations, client feedback, and lessons learned.
• Create, format, and maintain comprehensive employee CVs tailored to specific project opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Head of Proposals, Estimators, and Design Managers to translate technical input into persuasive written content.
• Ensure all written responses align with client requirements and reflect the company’s brand, tone, and values.
• Proofread and edit content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Support production of bid materials such as capability statements, CVs, and supporting narratives.
• Assist in organising and maintaining a high-quality, accessible content library.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of bid processes.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline.
• Interest in or understanding of construction, architecture, or the built environment (desirable but not essential).
• Prior experience in a writing or content role (academic, placement, or freelance) is beneficial.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign or similar publishing/layout tools is advantageous.
