SAP Business One Systems Manager
Surrey (hybrid)
£50,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
SystemsAccountants are currently working with a growing SAP B1 end-user looking to bring on a Systems Manager into their team. They are looking for a proactive SAP B1 expert, ideally from a strong accounting background.
Role Responsibilities:
* Act as the SAP B1 Subject Matter Expert in the business, providing technical support and advice on how the best resolve issues with system functionality and system data
* Deliver system maintenance, development, and configuration
* Assist in the rollout and optimisation of SAP B1 into new acquisitions
* Optimise current design to best meet reporting needs
* Deliver system integrations with SAP B1, including with iDocs, a CRM Solution, operational software, and data warehouse solution
* Document processes, operating procedures, and controls for best practice
* Work on system updates and the rollout of additional functionality in SAP B1
* Assist in validating third-party changes to SAP B1
* Pro-actively propose and lead initiatives to significantly improve current levels of system and data integrity
* Design, document, and implement best practice processes and controls for system maintenance, upgrades, development, and configuration
* Partner with functional teams (Finance, HR, IT, Ops, etc) to support process improvements and system enhancements.
Role Requirements:
* 3+ years hands-on experience with SAP B1 ERP (in a multi-database environment) as a SAP B1 Consultant / Systems Accountant.
* Can provide examples of undertaking system implementations, integrations, updates and maintenance.
* Can provide examples of creating documentation detailing best practice.
* Can demonstrate a strong accounting background. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) highly desirable.
* Sound understanding of finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and reporting.
* SAP B1 certification highly desirable.
* Advanced skills in MS SQL and scripting highly desirable.
* Experience of Boyum and Crystal Reporting highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to be flexible and capable of multitasking and re-prioritising in a high pace environment.
* Can provide examples of being proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Can come into the offices in Surrey 3x a week
