Birmingham City Women FC is seeking a highly organised, education-focused leader to oversee the academic provision for our Women’s Academy players (U16–U21). You will ensure our education programme meets the targets set out in the Academy Performance Plan, supporting both academic achievement and player wellbeing in line with the Club’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the Academy’s education department.
* Oversee the delivery of a high-quality education programme for all Academy players.
* Monitor academic progress, wellbeing, and personal development, liaising with Player Care and Performance Wellbeing staff.
* Build strong relationships with education providers, parents, and key internal stakeholders.
* Track player progress and provide regular reports, reviews, and interventions where needed.
* Maintain accurate and secure academic records in line with GDPR.
* Manage education-related inspections and ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, and health & safety standards.
* Support life skills and transition planning for players.
* Degree level education.
* PGCE, ECT, QTS, or QTLS (or working towards).
* Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* High attention to detail and competence in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
* Understanding of the education system, safeguarding, and pastoral care.
