Telesales & Customer Service Executive

Location: Folkestone
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent

About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Telesales & Customer Service Executive to join their Internal Sales team. This role combines telesales, customer service, and sales support responsibilities, playing a key part in managing customer enquiries, supporting the sales function, and contributing to revenue growth.

You will act as a first point of contact for customers, delivering a high standard of service while also identifying opportunities to generate leads, follow up quotations, and add value through upselling and cross‑selling.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

* Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries by phone and email.

* Provide timely, professional support and resolve issues or escalate where appropriate.

* Manage after‑sales care, including delivery updates and customer follow‑ups.

* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a consistently positive experience.

Telesales & Sales Support

* Assign inbound leads to the appropriate Regional Sales Managers.

* Generate new leads through proactive communication and market research.

* Prepare, issue and follow up on customer quotations and proposals.

* Track outstanding quotes and proactively support conversion to orders.

* Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities during customer interactions.

* Where required, manage leads from initial enquiry through to order completion.

* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the CRM system.

About You:

* Previous experience in customer service, telesales, sales support or a similar role.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional manner.

* Strong organisational and time‑management skills.

* High attention to detail and accuracy.

* Proactive problem‑solver with a customer‑focused mindset.

* Experience using CRM systems.

* Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams.
