Responsibilities:
* Support children with social, emotional, and mental health issues in a Pupil Referral Unit.
* Build strong relationships with students and staff through excellent communication.
* Encourage, motivate, and support students, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Practice de-escalation and calming techniques, maintaining an empathetic approach.
* Support students' development towards independence.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience working with children or adults with additional needs.
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Able to support children of all abilities.
* Positive attitude towards learning and supporting student development.
* Backgrounds in care, sports, psychology, criminology, sociology, or youth work are encouraged to apply.
