An established international pharmaceutical organisation is expanding its Biologics R&D capability in Cambridge and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the advancement of Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) programmes from candidate nomination through IND/CTA and into early clinical development.
This is a delivery-focused role within a growing biologics function, ideal for a project leader with experience in complex biologics programmes and a strong understanding of early development.
The Role
You will be responsible for driving cross-functional coordination of ADC early development programmes, ensuring alignment, delivery and risk management across key functions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading cross-functional project teams across CMC, non-clinical, regulatory and clinical functions
* Building and maintaining integrated development plans
* Managing timelines, milestones, risks and mitigation strategies
* Supporting the preparation and submission of IND/CTA documentation
* Ensuring clear communication and alignment between scientific and operational stakeholders
* Providing modality awareness in ADC technologies to enable informed programme decision-making
This role reports into senior leadership within Project Management & Operations.
What We’re Looking For
You will likely bring:
* A PhD or equivalent experience in life sciences (biochemistry, immunology, chemistry, pharmacy or related field)
* Experience within biotech or pharma
* Proven project management experience within biologics or oncology programmes
* Exposure to ADC or complex biologics modalities
* Experience supporting preclinical development and IND/CTA submissions
* Strong project planning, risk management and cross-functional leadership skills
* The ability to operate confidently within a dynamic R&D environment
You do not need to be the scientific architect of the molecule — but you must be comfortable working within technically complex biologics programmes.
Why Consider This Role?
* Opportunity to join a growing biologics platform in Cambridge
* Exposure to next-generation oncology modalities
* High visibility within a strategically expanding R&D function
* Collaborative, values-driven culture
* Genuine opportunity to shape early development execution
This is an excellent opportunity for a biologics Project Manager seeking greater programme ownership within a well-funded and expanding R&D organisation
