We’re looking for a dedicated Field Monitoring Officer to support the delivery and collection of environmental samples that contribute to high quality data analysis. What You’ll Be Doing: Collecting samples, including river water, effluents, bathing waters, invertebrates, diatoms, and groundwater. Conducting electric fishing surveys and qualifying as an Officer in Charge Participating in boat-based monitoring activities Using scheduling software to plan efficient routes and ensure accurate data collection Working in all weather conditions, rain or shine, your fieldwork matters Key Responsibilities: Procuring and managing sampling equipment Maintaining bottle and fishery stores Communicating effectively with site contacts, the public, and internal teams Mentoring and training colleagues to uphold consistent, high-quality standards What We Provide: A small/medium-sized van for field duties. You will collect and drop off the vehicle at the office each day.
