Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day-to-day, short-term, and long-term positions on behalf of schools in Newport and surrounding areas. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) in Education, or relevant experience in an education setting.
Teaching Assistants play a vital role in the education workforce in Wales, supporting and motivating children across various settings.

Candidate Requirements
* Minimum of 3 months experience in a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or as a teaching assistant.
* Ability to assist with lesson preparation across all curriculum areas, considering varied student abilities.
* Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
* Provide stimulating activities while ensuring hygiene and safety.
* Maintain a supportive, clean classroom environment.
* Attend to individual student needs and identify appropriate solutions.
* Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers and families.
We are a preferred supplier on the Welsh Government’s National Teacher Framework, offering flexible day-to-day and long-term placements throughout the school year.
All candidates will undergo a vetting process, including two satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check. All offers are conditional upon background checks.
