We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, passionate and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex communication and interaction difficulties, helping them thrive within our specialist provision. In this role, you will work closely with the resource provision teacher, SENDCo, other TAs, therapists and families, to ensure each child receives tailored support that enhances their learning experience, social development and confidence. All children within the setting with have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of ASC and associated language and sensory complexities. They will also have a skill set that enables them to effectively communicate and interact with children experiencing complex language delay. Anyone from a therapeutic, clinical or schools-based background may have the appropriate skills for this role.
