ELECTRICAL FITTER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE.
Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an Electrical Fitter to join a well established manufacturing business in the Halesfield area of Telford (Shropshire).
The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is up to £14.00 per hour dependant on experience (annual salary just over £30,000 per annum), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once you've passed a probation period.
We are ideally looking for someone who has worked with 12v or 24v systems within vehicles, or someone who has worked within an electrical manufacturing business and has got similar experience, anyone who has previously worked in a Mechanics/Workshop environment and has worked on beacon lights, sensors or indicators would also be suitable for this job.
This role would be a good fit for someone who has previously worked as an Electrical Fitter, Electrical Technician, Vehicle Fitter, Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Auto Electrician, Panel Wirer or Electrical Installer.
What You Will Do:
Repair electrical components to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct fault-finding tasks to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Service and repair vehicles, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.
Work from engineer drawings to complete tasks accurately.
Use hand and power tools daily to carry out your duties effectively.
Contribute to the success of a busy workshop environment by maintaining high standards of workmanship.
What You Will Bring:
Proven experience in a similar Electrical Fitter role.
Hands-on experience with vehicles, gained in a workshop, garage, or manufacturing environment.
Confidence in reading and understanding engineer drawings.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to your work.
