Job Description:
Working Hours: 37 hours on a shift basis. The shift pattern is a 4-week repeating cycle: 3 weeks of 9am-5pm, 1 week of 1pm-9pm, Monday to Friday, plus 1 Saturday in 4 from 10am-6pm with a rest day following.
There is an option to support the ASB car 1 week in approximately 12, with shifts starting at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm.
For roles covering the City Centre, shifts follow a 3-week cycle: two weeks of 9am-5pm and one week with shifts starting at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm, plus 1 Saturday in 3.
Worker Type: Offsite Worker
Salary: Starting at £31,586 (Level one), rising to £34,314 per annum (pro rata for part-time).
Location: Various within Nottingham City Boundary.

About the Role
Are you passionate about community safety and seeking a good work/life balance? Become part of our dedicated Neighbourhood Safety Team, providing customer-focused services to keep neighborhoods safe, clean, and vibrant. Build relationships with local stakeholders, businesses, and residents, becoming a trusted community partner.
Utilize your problem-solving skills, preventative measures, engagement, education, and enforcement when necessary to address neighborhood challenges.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong communication skills: listening, empathizing, assertiveness, and negotiation.
* Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.
* Experience working within communities, with an appreciation for involvement and participation.
* Knowledge of enforcement tools, such as fixed penalty notices, ASB regulations, and relevant laws including the Crime and Policing Act 2014 and the Environmental Protection Act.
A NPPV (Non-Police Personal Vetting) is required for this position.
