The Role:
Working as part of a motivated, dedicated and busy team, you will assist in the development and delivery of the Council's growth and regeneration priorities specifically focussing on Bolton town centre.
You will join the team at an exciting time when the focus is on economic recovery and supporting town centres. Over the next 12 months, we will be developing the partnership further and you will be in a position to influence and help us achieve our goals. Due to the nature of the work the role will be office based.
Based with the Central Bolton Partnership (CBP) team you will work with members of the partnership to provide business support and assistance to address issues of concern regarding the town centre. You will work with services from across the Council as well as external partners such as the police, developers and businesses from a range of sectors. This post is a designated customer facing role under the fluency duty and requires a specified level of spoken English as per the person specification. Calculate your take home pay. You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective working relations with a wide range of internal and external stakeholder contacts.
You’ll have the ability to build new and effective relationships with business members, stakeholders and colleagues.
You will have great organisational skills and be solution focussed and motivated to get the job done.
Being able to plan and prepare reports for a range of audiences is key.
