About the Role
We’re seeking a commercially minded and relationship-driven Senior Land Manager to join a leading housebuilder in the Midlands.
In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new land and partnership opportunities, driving bid submissions, and negotiating legal agreements. You'll play a key role in shaping the development pipeline and influencing how communities are built.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively source, assess, and progress land and partnership opportunities
* Lead bid submissions and pre-sale proposal strategies
* Negotiate terms and legal agreements with landowners and partners
* Engage and build relationships with local authorities and housing associations
* Support regional growth through strategic land acquisitions
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performing team culture
* Collaborate cross-functionally to align land strategy with wider business goals
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in land acquisition, planning, or development partnerships
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* Experience working with legal agreements, bids, and planning processes
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement and influencing at a senior level
* Strategic, proactive, and solutions-focused
* Passionate about residential development and regeneration
* Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional collaboration
