Northumbria Healthcare Foundation Trust (NHCT) Community Podiatry Services are seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and focused HCPC-registered Specialist Podiatrist to join their team.
The role involves assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating foot and lower limb abnormalities and diseases across all ages, with a focus on high-risk groups such as the elderly and those at risk of amputation.
You will provide specialist care to maintain mobility and independence, especially for patients with diabetes, circulatory disorders, neuropathy, rheumatoid arthritis, and biomechanical pathologies. You will also support the wider multidisciplinary team and deliver evidence-based podiatry in various settings, including clinics, GP surgeries, hospitals, patients' homes, and nursing homes.
This is a four-day fixed-term position covering the Central locality area, offering a band 5 competency development program. The post requires the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Consideration is given to third-year students graduating this year.
