The Managing Director (MD) of Linemark Ltd will provide strategic leadership, operational excellence, and commercial acumen to drive the company's continued growth and innovation in the linemarking paint sector.

As a key member of the Sports Division leadership team, the MD will lead the business to achieve ambitious growth, profitability, and sustainability objectives — fostering a high-performance culture built on Origin's values of integrity, innovation, and partnerships.

The MD will combine deep operational knowledge with forward thinking leadership to ensure Linemark remains a market leader in product quality, service excellence, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Business Growth

* Develop and execute a clear, long-term strategy for Linemark that aligns with Origin's mission and group growth objectives.
* Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities, product diversification, and geographical expansion.
* Build strategic partnerships and distribution networks to strengthen Linemark's position in domestic and international markets.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform decision-making and maintain competitive advantage.
* Collaborate with the wider Living Landscapes Division to identify and deliver strategic synergies across the group.

Operational and Financial Management

* Lead end-to-end operational optimisation across production, supply chain, procurement, and quality control.
* Implement lean and sustainable manufacturing processes that enhance efficiency and profitability.
* Own the company's P&L, budgets, and financial performance metrics; deliver consistent year-on-year growth.
* Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to drive accountability and performance improvement.
* Drive continuous improvement within the business and the adoption of new technologies and processes.

Sales, Marketing and Customer Relations

* Lead the sales and marketing strategy to grow revenue, market share, and brand strength.
* Build Linemark's brand as the trusted, innovative partner of choice in the linemarking industry.
* Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
* Drive customer-centric initiatives that enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.

Product Development and Innovation

* Oversee R&D and product innovation to ensure Linemark remains at the forefront of sustainable paint technology.
* Develop and deliver a five-year product roadmap aligned with market needs and environmental standards.
* Encourage experimentation, creativity, and collaboration across teams to accelerate innovation.

Compliance and Risk Management

* Ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and manufacturing regulations.
* Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
* Uphold ethical leadership standards in all aspects of business governance.
* Promote a culture of safety and strong adherence to health and safety regulations.

People Leadership and Organisational Development

* Build, develop, and retain a high-performing team aligned to Linemark's strategic ambitions.
* Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and collaboration.
* Act as a coach and mentor to direct reports, supporting their personal and professional growth.
* Foster diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing across the business.
* Ensure robust succession planning is in place to secure the long-term strength of the team.
